An honor gift offers you a thoughtful way to celebrate a special person still with us or an occasion while contributing to our mission to one day live in a world without suicide. Family, friends, and the honoree can visit, leave notes of support, share stories, and donate to help create a world without suicide.

• The opportunity to create a personalized page to share your story and recruit donations from friends and family.
• AFSP staff support. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or need assistance with your fund.
• A quarterly update listing the donors who have supported your Memorial or Honor Fund (upon request).
• A personalized Memorial or Honor Fund gift when your fund reaches $5,000.

Funeral directors play an important role in supporting families during times of profound grief and loss. When a loved one dies by suicide, families and friends often need resources to help them navigate their grief and find support. AFSP offers free information and materials that you can share with those impacted by suicide loss.

Funeral directors can request memorial giving materials from AFSP by clicking the button below or by calling 212-363-3500 ext. 2070. These materials are available for families and friends who wish to make a memorial contribution and can be provided during services or made available to guests as a way to remember and honor a loved one.
